| This role requires you to lead sales and business development for the brand across allocated retailers and distributors in the UAE.
Responsibilities: · Develop productive long term relationships with direct customers · Create long term strategies and lead BDA execution with clients · Formulate marketing and promotions for existing products and new launches · Monitor sales data before and after promotions · Act as the main contact for existing and new customers · Create sales strategies and meet sales targets · Prepare volume forecasts and plans · Manage sales merchandisers to achieve timely & effective implementation. · Develop in-store visibility plans in coordination with customers, and follow-up to achieve timely & effective implementation. · Initiate & develop annual marketing plan/s as per the strategy & guidelines set; follow up on implementation, and report back on progress & any recommendations to change or amend. · Play a central role in steering Sales in coordination with respective accounts; with aim to continuously improve share of shelf vs. competitors and to amplify impact of product visibility on consumers. Company products being Impulse products – it becomes imperative to place company products on checkouts, in the category, and occasionally in selective out of the category. · Keep up to date with market trends pertaining to industry/trade/product category, customer preferences and competitor activities · Prepare reports on operational issues, market trends, competitors, and customers to facilitate overall decision-making on brand management strategy. Requirements: The successful candidate should have experience working with a healthy, confectionary, organic and/or impulse food brand in the UAE for at least 5 years in a similar role. You must have an established network selling and developing impulse brands within Modern Trade. A strong network within Class A supermarket chains and Coops in the UAE is a must for this role.
