Job Description of Asite Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative – UAE (BDR) is responsible for assisting the UAE Sales team on all presales activities such as helping to build the company’s outbound pipeline through a variety of resources, such as automated outreach, campaigns, and follow up calls. The BDR will need to become an expert on the product and closely familiarise him/herself with the industries Asite caters to. The BDR’s goal will be to identify new business development opportunities across various companies and verticals and build initial relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, and build a healthy pipeline of sales qualified opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Engaging with Relevant AEC industry target audience and enterprise-sized companies, and qualifying them as sales opportunities.
Qualifying the decision-maker using a consultative sales approach and finding their pain points.
Booking prospect for a demo with Sales/Business Development Manager
Building outbound pipeline in the India/ African region by engaging with new prospects using a variety of resources such as Hubspot to generate outreach to new prospects and supplement marketing campaigns.
Participate in the building of outbound campaigns by research and bringing new ideas to the table.
Researching and analysing the competitive landscape to build up a picture of our target accounts, new regions, competitors and other areas of interest to the business.
Work with Salesforce to document sales activities where appropriate
Supporting the Sales team targets set by the company
Attending sales meetings, work closely with the marketing team, and keep current with all product information, pricing and contract terms.
Assist with the preparation of any sales proposals and bid process by responding to RFI’s and RFP’s
Attending relevant industry events for networking and lead generation
