Kanoo Travel is currently expanding rapidly and we are looking for a Country Manager to be based in our Dubai office.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking a seasoned travel industry professional that will be responsible to provide guidance and leadership to our team, while ensuring the successful management of our new and existing clients.

You must successfully exceed the (KPI’s) and growth expectations that form a key part of our business goals. In doing this, the individual must bring excellent analytical skills, strong account management experience and a successful record of motivating, coaching and mentoring the team.

In addition, the capability to establish and develop valued long-term partnerships will be a key to the success in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

– Plan, develop, implement and manage corporate travel policies.
– Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
– Design, execute and manage training seminars and programs for operations teams.
– Administer and handle all the activities and operations of travel arrangements for example air tickets, lodgings and so on.
– Oversee trustworthiness with vendors.
– Propose changes, improvements and development in travel programs.
– Responded to clients’ questions, issues and complaints and implemented appropriate solutions.
– Supervised payments via credit and debit cards and handled all sensitive information with professionalism and discreteness.
– Maintain operational proficiency.
– Provide exemplary customer service to new and existing clients, which helped build lasting relationships and secure new travel assignments.
– Develop process improvements and long-term business strategies through analysis of customer feedback.
– Provided customers with best deals and well-researched travel options, successfully negotiating rates while improving customer satisfaction ratings.
– Assure compliance with various pertinent travel strategies and methodologies.
– Update to date knowledge of the latest travel industry pattern and ways to implement them.
Desired Candidate Profile
– You must have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in the travel industry and must have worked with a reputed TMC (Travel Management Company).
– A minimum of a graduate level and/or IATA qualified.
– Prior team management experience is mandatory.
– Must have dealt with top clients and leaders across various industries.
– Prior experience in budgeting, forecasting and planning process is key.
– Excellent communication skills.
– You must be proactive, persuasive and analytical.
